Melissa Leo has been featured in three Henry Jaglom films - "ALWAYS (BUT NOT FOREVER)," "VENICE/VENICE" and now "LAST SUMMER IN THE HAMPTONS." Currently Ms. Leo is starring as Detective Kay Howard in "HOMICIDE: LIFE ON THE STREET," NBC's highly acclaimed hour-long dramatic series from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Barry Levinson and Emmy Award-winning writer/producer Tom Fontana. Leo's feature film credits include the lead role in "STREETWALKIN'," a film about a runaway-turned-prostitute and "A TIME OF DESTINY," co-starring Timothy Hutton and William Hurt. She has guest-starred on numerous television series including "THE EQUALIZER," "SPENCER FOR HIRE," and "GIDEON OLIVER" and co-starred with Valerie Bertinelli in the television movie "THE INCIDENT." She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for her continuing role in "ALL MY CHILDREN." Stage credits include the New York Shakespeare Festival production of "DON JUAN" and the off-Broadway production of "CINDERS," opposite Christopher Walken.
