Brooke Smith most recently was featured as Sonya in Louis Malle's "VANYA ON 42ND STREET," (as directed on stage by André Gregory). She appeared in New York at Naked Angels in "ANDRE SCOGGIN FUGUE" and at the Ensemble Studio Theatre in "THROWING YOUR VOICE." On film she was notable in Jonathan Demme's "THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS" (as the gutsy girl in the well,) and other film credits include Barbara Kopple's "A CENTURY OF WOMEN," Warren Leight's "THE NIGHT WE NEVER MET," Alan Pakula's "SEE YOU IN THE MORNING," and Alan Rudolph's " THE MODERNS." On T.V. Ms. Smith has appeared in "THE EQUALIZER" and "FREE TO BE YOU AND ME."
